Alon Stoler
Trombone
Was born in Jerusalem in 1987.
Started to play the Euphonium at the age of 10 and the trombone at the age of 17.
Obtained his Bachelor at the HEM Genève, Switzerland and his master at the UdK Berlin, Germany.
Won several competitions such as the Israeli Lions competition (1st prize) and the international Lions competition (2nd prize), the Aviv competition (1st prize) the Rachel and Dov Gottesman prize.
Member of the West-Eastern Divan orchestra since 2014. Played with various orchestras such as the OSR (Geneva), OCG (Geneva), Israeli Chamber Orchestra, DSO (Berlin), Brussels Philharmonic, Iceland Symphony orchestra (Reykjavik).
Since 2018, teacher at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
Was a member of the Matka ensemble for contemporary music (Geneva) between 2011 and 2015.
Playing with the Israel Contemporary Players since 2017.
